NCCTM Updates – November

NCCTM’s 49th State Conference was held on November 7th and 8th in Greensboro. This year’s focus was Developing Mathematical Mindsets for All. NCMATYC is pleased so many of our members are active in this organization and seek to strengthen these ties. Check out the NCCTM newsletter, and don’t forget their Spring Regional Conferences.

Calculus Placement

MAT 271/272 instructors please contact Glynis Mullins, GMullins@email.pittcc.edu, if you are interested in helping determine cut scores for student calculus placement at the community college.

NCMATYC Student Scholarship

Congratulations to Riley Lancaster for receiving the NCMATYC Student Scholarship. Riley is a student at Wayne Community College and was nominated by Rachel Mulins. 


Call for Conference Presentations

Please submit a presenter’s form for the conference. Remember to complete separate forms for each presentation you wish to give. The deadline is January 13, 2020. Priority is given based on the submission order.
