2011 NCMATYC Spring Conference a Success
Our 2011 Spring Conference was well attended – over 130 registered attendees! There were many sessions, including a devoted time to the developmental redesign currently underway in our state. Our keynote speaker, Sherri Messersmith, inspired us to find ways to keep instruction fresh and appealing to our students. We are very fortunate to have the AMATYC Southeast Regional VP, Donna Saye, and the AMATYC President, Rob Farinelli, at our conference.

Student Math League Winners (2010-2011)
We want to congratulate Brendan Fletcher of Central Piedmont CC won the individual portion of the Student Math League competition at the 2011 NCMATYC Conference. Brandan went on to win in the North Carolina State competition and also won at the National Student Math League!
Central Piedmont CC took home bragging rights in the team competition at our 2011 conference.
